QuakerPlan

Frequently asked questions

Short answers to what students ask first.

Start planning, it is free

Is QuakerPlan free?

Yes. There are no ads and no subscription. Each person gets a small daily allowance for the AI assistant.

Is it official or affiliated with Penn?

No. QuakerPlan is an independent student project. It uses published Penn data and does not replace your official degree audit or your advisor.

Which students can use it?

Undergraduates in Wharton, Engineering, the College and Nursing, including dual majors, dual degrees such as M&T and VIPER, and submatriculation into a master's program.

How accurate are the requirements?

They come from Penn's published degree audits, and a few rules that Penn states only in prose were checked by hand. If a rule looks wrong for you, you can correct a requirement's course list yourself and QuakerPlan marks it as your change.

How current is the course data?

It is refreshed every night, and the search page tells you the date of the last refresh.

Can the assistant change my plan?

Only if you press Apply on a card it shows you. It does not edit anything by itself.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. On narrow screens the panels become tabs and dialogs become sheets.

What if I forget my password?

Use the emailed reset link, or the recovery code shown when you created your account.

Can I get my plan out?

Yes. Export a CSV, or an .ics calendar file, or subscribe to a private calendar link.
