Every Penn degree, in one checklist
Pick one degree or several. QuakerPlan turns each into a live checklist and counts your courses against all of them at once.
Start planning, it is freeWhat is covered
The requirement data comes from the degree audits Penn publishes, covering undergraduate programs in Wharton, the School of Engineering and Applied Science, the College of Arts and Sciences and Nursing, plus graduate programs. Majors, minors, concentrations and submatriculation programs are included.
Searching the picker is forgiving: Penn prints "Mech Engr & Appl Mechanics", and typing "mechanical" still finds it.
Dual majors and dual degrees
Penn uses three different words for combining programs, and they mean different things. QuakerPlan keeps them apart.
- A dual degree is two schools and two diplomas, such as Management and Technology (M&T), VIPER, or the other coordinated programs.
- A dual major is two majors in one school with one diploma. General requirements are counted once, and the engineering rule of one senior design is applied.
- A second major in another school sits beside your first as a second panel.
One course, several degrees
A single course can satisfy a requirement in more than one degree when Penn allows it. QuakerPlan assigns each course to requirements so that as many rows as possible turn green, respecting the caps on overlap that Penn sets, and shows which requirement each course is counting for.
What the checklist will not do
It is a planning tool, not your official audit. Penn's own degree audit and your advisor decide whether you graduate. When a rule was written in prose that cannot be turned into a checklist exactly, QuakerPlan says so on the row.
